What can I expect from my driving instructor?
Your Instructor will:
Provide training on a one-to-one basis with no other learner in the tuition vehicle.
Honour the full 60 minutes for each 1 hour lesson and multiples thereof.
Always conduct training in a professional manner and whilst having the authority to refuse or end a lesson early will abide by the law and not discriminate against any learner.
Have the highest standard of personal conduct during the lesson including:
- Avoiding physical contact except in case of an emergency.
- Not smoking during any training.
Provide a presentable, modern and properly maintained vehicle on every lesson.
Always endeavour to be on time at the agreed meeting point and be available for the full duration of the lesson subject to unforeseen circumstances beyond your instructors control.
Give you 24 hours notice should a lesson need to be rescheduled subject to circumstances beyond your instructors control.
Recommend or provide free of charge the latest training methods and aids to help you study for the Theory and Hazard Perception Tests.
Provide relevant feedback during your lesson and record your progress on your Drivers Record.
Monitor your progress, recommend the appropriate time to apply for your practical driving test and book the test appointment on your behalf.
